Maria de Lima premiered “Entredentes”, in S. Paulo, Brazil, and in October, she was invited to premiere it in Rio de Janeiro. During a short vacation in Portugal, the actress reflected on the importance of the internationalization of Portuguese actors.

“The effort has been positive and is clearly rewarding”, revealed actress Maria, who, together with the prestigious Brazilian actors Ney Latorraca and Edi Botelho, entered the scene at the beginning of this year in S. Paulo, through the hand of the controversial and prestigious author and director Gerald Thomas.

“This is not the first time I have worked with Gerald. I like working with him because of the enormous challenges he poses to me as an actress. It was a success, this interesting work and received a resounding applause from the press and the public”, he stressed.

Maria de Lima is a well-known face in Portuguese cinema and television, with collaborations with Marina Mota, Ana Bola and Filipe La Féria on her CV.

She settled in the UK over 15 years ago, where she gained theater experience.
